Kimberly Pope
My name is Kimberly Pope and I have been teaching and coaching in Coppell ISD for the past 7 years and have a total of 10 years teaching experience. I currently teach 7th/8th Texas and United States History; GT to on level students. I have a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Principal Certification, and starting my Doctorate in Educational Administration in the fall of 2013.
This school year, my classes have functioned under a full 3E flipped instructional model. There are different models for my different levels of learners, but I have seen a major improvement in engagement and empowerment in my classes. My favorite pastimes include: spending time with my husband Tony and three boys, Kaleb, Lennon, and Hendrix; reading, and grilling out in the backyard. coachpopeteched.weebly.com supportmyflip.weebly.com Coppell Middle School North |
Melanie Ringman
A little about me: I graduated from Texas A&M in 2005. Whoop! I have two boys, Elijah and Joshua, two cats and a dog. As you can imagine, our house is always busy. In my spare time, I am an avid reader and love spending time with my husband and kids. My favorite genre is dystopian and fantasy novels. I love talking about books so you can always strike up a conversation with me about the book you are currently reading!
This is my 8th year to teach at Coppell Middle School North. I currently teach 7th/8th grade combined GT Language Arts. I have taught in the gifted program for six years and have taught both Language Arts and History. This year our school has implemented the 3E model lesson planning with a focus on flipping the classroom. I have enjoyed engaging, enriching and empowering my lessons and my students.
